Job summary

Ultimate Care Group – Queenstown invites applications for a casual Kitchen Hand at Alden Elmslie Wanaka. You will support the kitchen and wider team to deliver nutritious meals while maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.

Key tasks include assisting the Chef with food preparation, supporting meal service, and keeping areas hygienic. NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa is essential as visa support cannot be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as a kitchen assistant, cleaner, or similar role.
• Strong focus on hygiene, cleanliness, and safety.
• Reliable, friendly, and professional manner.
• Ability to manage a mix of kitchen and housekeeping tasks.
• Respect for residents’ cultural and personal needs.
• Food safety knowledge, hospitality experience, or first aid (desirable).
