Ultimate Care Group – Queenstown, South Island is seeking a part-time Cook at Alden Elmslie in Wanaka to prepare nutritious, appealing meals for residents while upholding food safety standards. You will work with the kitchen and facility team to meet dietary needs, maintain cleanliness and stock, and ensure meals are served on time.

Food safety certification or chef qualifications are desirable; previous aged-care experience is preferred, with a friendly, team-oriented attitude.

Cook | Part-time | Alden Elmslie in Wanaka

As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and delivering nutritious, appealing meals that meet residents’ needs while following food safety and hygiene standards. You’ll work closely with the kitchen and wider facility team to ensure a positive dining experience for our residents.


Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare and serve nutritious, attractive meals for residents

  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety requirements

  • Support special dietary needs in consultation with the dietician

  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, stock levels, and equipment

  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and facility team

Skills and Experience
