Job summary

Recruitnet Consulting Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer or Fitter to join a reputable manufacturing company in the Waikato. You will support coordinating and generating preventative maintenance tasks and assist with maintenance operations on the afternoon shift (3pm–11pm).

Reporting to the Reliability and Maintenance Manager, you will apply electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic skills to plan, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and help maintain spare parts

Qualifications

• Electrical and Automation and Maintenance expertise.
• Ability to repair, troubleshoot and install equipment.
• Knowledge of maintenance methods, processes and metrics.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to follow Health & Safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute planned and preventative maintenance, spare part supply and contractor services.
• Basic mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic skills.
• Generate preventative and maintenance task lists and work instructions for production.
• Assist with a well organised maintenance spare parts store system.
• Read electrical and/or mechanical drawings with the ability to repair, troubleshoot and install equipment.
