We're a family in Kelburn looking for a warm, dependable student to help with after-school care for our twin girls, both aged 5.

The role will include

• Picking the kids up from school at 3pm from Kelburn Normal School. This is a 5-minute walk from our place, so no car needed.
• Walking them home then snack/play/park trips/reading - that sort of thing.
• General help around the kids as needed — we're not expecting you to cook dinner, but a hand with tidying up after them is appreciated.

Hours/days

• 3-4 afternoons a week, 3pm-5pm ish — 6 to 10 hours total per week
• We can be flexible on which days, and will lock them in with the right person

Ongoing role, to start 12 October (beginning of term 4). Ideally someone who can stay through the rest of the year / into next year. Potential for additional hours through school holidays.

What we're looking for

• Someone with experience with young children — babysitting, nannying, coaching, holiday programmes, tutoring or similar
• Someone patient, energetic and fun
• Reliable - our school pickup depends on you
• Contactable references
• Willing to complete a police vetting check (we'll organise and sort this)
• First aid certificate is a bonus, not a requirement
