Paparoa Street School in Christchurch, New Zealand is offering a part-time role to support primary students during learning activities and school programs. This is a great opportunity for students studying education, teaching, psychology, social work, health, occupational therapy, speech language therapy or other people focused professions to gain valuable practical experience working with primary school aged children.
You will work alongside experienced teachers and learning support professionals, developing your understanding of children, learning, inclusion and individual needs while making a genuine difference to a child’s school experience.
Previous experience working with children is helpful, but it is not essential. We are interested in people who have the right attitude, are willing to learn and genuinely want to make a difference.
