Job summary

Rocket Lab is hiring Manufacturing Engineers across multiple disciplines in Auckland, New Zealand. You will turn early ideas into manufacturable designs, build and optimize systems for rocket production, and continuously push for faster, better, smarter manufacturing methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or science discipline.
• 0-5 years of technical experience in Manufacturing, Production, or Process Engineering.
• Hands-on problem solving in complex manufacturing systems.
• Ability to autonomously deliver on complex assignments.
• Foundational knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Can-do approach in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Own & Ship: become the expert on products and help teams hit production goals with quality.
• Solve & Fix: investigate failures and assess parts against flight standards with engineering analysis.
• Build & Improve: write clear procedures, design reliable hardware and testing setups.
• Lead & Scale: review designs for manufacturability, launch products to the factory floor, set up planning and data systems.
• Grow & Deliver: mentor technicians, break projects into pieces, run projects with minimal oversight.
