Job summary

Ministry of Health in Wellington seeks an Advisor within Government Services to deliver high-quality advice, manage a varied workload including Ministerial correspondence and Official Information Act requests, and support Ministers, the Ministry, and the wider health system.

You will build advisory skills, work with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to outcomes that matter for New Zealanders. Applications close 29 October 2026.

What you'll do - Ko tōu ake mahi

As an Advisor within Government Services, you'll help deliver high-quality advice, manage a varied workload that may include Ministerial correspondence, Official Information Act requests and Parliamentary services, and contribute to work that supports Ministers, the Ministry and the wider health system. This is an excellent opportunity to build your advisory skills, work with a wide range of stakeholders, and make a meaningful contribution to outcomes that matter for New Zealanders.
