Job summary

The Ministry of Health in Wellington is seeking a Policy Analyst to provide advice and analysis to support government priorities, manage a portfolio of work and meet deadlines.

You will research information, prepare briefings, build relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

What you’ll bring

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgement and provide practical advice.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, build positive stakeholder relationships, and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines.
