Job summary

Ministry of Justice - New Zealand is seeking an experienced Advisor in NSD Operations Support to provide timely, accurate advice to business unit managers and frontline operations. This 9-month fixed-term role involves developing policies, guidelines and service improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate across units, manage information requests to Ministers and Parliament, and contribute to a high-performing, customer-focused team in Aotearoa's justice system.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate, tailored advice to business unit managers and frontline operations.
• Develop operational policies, guidelines and initiatives and resolve issues; support continuous improvement within NSD.
• Lead or support service improvement initiatives as required.
• Coordinate release of information to Ministers and Parliament; respond to parliamentary, justice stakeholder requests.
• Collaborate with other business units to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and timely communications.
