Job summary

The Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand is seeking an Advisor, Commercial and Procurement to optimise procurement and commercial activities across the organisation. You will advise managers, lead procurement processes, support projects, and strengthen systems to meet public sector best practice.

With a focus on value, you'll analyse options, develop documentation, and engage markets while building trusted stakeholder relationships.

About the Role

As Advisor, Commercial and Procurement, you'll play a key role in helping CAA get the best value from its procurement and commercial activities. Working closely with managers and stakeholders across the organisation, you'll provide expert advice, lead procurement processes, support commercial projects, and help strengthen systems and practices that ensure procurement activities are efficient, transparent, and aligned with public sector best practice.

Key Responsibilities

The salary band for this role is $83,600 - $102,302. Starting salaries are based on knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, as well as internal relativities.
