Job summary

Health New Zealand invites an experienced Orthopaedic Physiotherapist to lead and champion advanced MSK care within the National Orthopaedic Musculoskeletal Hospital Pathway in Te Tai Tokerau. You will provide expert physiotherapy across local pathways, collaborate with orthopaedic services, and drive efficient clinical management for orthopaedic conditions, with a focus on osteoarthritis in the community.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand (APC) is required.
• Minimum of five years' clinical practice, with at least three years in orthopaedic/musculoskeletal.
• Postgraduate qualifications relevant to orthopaedics.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate with stakeholders across settings.
• Able to work autonomously and harmoniously with other health professionals.
• Clear, concise recording and reporting.

This role is an exciting opportunity to be involved in the National Orthopaedic Musculoskeletal Hospital Pathway in Te Tai Tokerau, and to provide advanced physiotherapy into our local pathways to support efficient and effective clinical management for those with orthopaedic conditions (specifically osteaoarthritis) in our community. About the Team/Service/Location

The Advanced Orthopaedic Physiotherapist is part of the Physiotherapy team, and will work closely alongside orthopaedic services to deliver on the requirements of this role.
