Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking an Administration Coordinator for the Richmond Health Hub. The role provides clinic administration and reception support, coordinating appointments and meetings, and maintaining systems and records to support high-quality public health services.

This permanent, part-time position (0.2 FTE) requires working two evenings per week in Richmond, with a focus on privacy, teamwork and delivering compassionate health services to communities across Aotearoa.

Provide clinic administration and reception support for after-hours Richmond Health Hub clinics.

About the Role

As an Administration Coordinator within the National Public Health Service, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality public health services. This varied role involves routine clinic administration, reception support, coordinating appointments and meetings, maintaining clinic systems and records, and acting as a key point of contact for health professionals, patients and visitors to the Richmond Health Hub. Working in a collaborative environment, you will help keep clinic operations running smoothly and support the delivery of services that improve health outcomes for communities across Aotearoa.

About You

You may already have administration experience, or you may bring strong transferable skills from another role where accuracy, communication, customer service and coordination were important. You will bring:

  • Administration or coordination skills, or strong transferable experience in supporting people, using systems and managing information accurately.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative, team-focused and customer-centred
  • A respectful, professional and trustworthy approach, with a strong awareness of privacy and confidentiality in a health setting.
