Qualifications

  • Experience managing records, documentation, data entry, and administrative systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and reception support to the Older Persons Mental Health team and wider Mental Health and Addiction Services.
  • Ensure efficient day-to-day operation of administrative functions and support clinicians, patients and whānau.
  • Manage information accurately and confidentially to support patient pathways and safe, person-centred care.
  • Cross-cover across the wider administration team, offering variety and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Administration Coordinator - Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Hospital

As an Administration Coordinator, you will provide comprehensive administrative and reception support to the Older Persons Mental Health team and wider Mental Health and Addiction Services. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient day to day operation of administrative functions, supporting clinicians, patients, and whānau through professional, accurate, and timely service delivery. This is a varied and fast paced role that combines customer service, health records management, referral processing, data entry, document preparation, and general office coordination. You will play an important role in ensuring information is managed accurately and confidentially, supporting patient pathways and helping clinical teams deliver safe, effective, and person centred care. You will also provide cross cover across the wider administration team, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and thrives in a collaborative environment.

About the Team/Service/Location

Our Mental Health and Addiction Services team provides specialist support and care to individuals and whānau across Hawke's Bay. Based in Napier, you will join a supportive administration team that works closely with clinicians, managers, and service users to ensure the seamless delivery of services across the organisation.
