Job summary

Bupa Hugh Green on Auckland’s North Shore (Albany) is seeking an Activities Assistant to help deliver engaging programmes for residents. You will support individual and group activities, review plans, and foster a welcoming, stimulating environment for residents and families.

This casual role requires enthusiasm, empathy, and strong communication. A NZQA Diversional Therapy Level certificate is preferred, with a driver’s licence advantageous for resident outings.

Qualifications

• NZQA Certificate in Diversional Therapy Level preferred.
• Experience in a similar role within aged care is desirable.
• Demonstrate outstanding communication skills.
• A fun personality with a creative flair.
• A clean, full driver’s licence is preferable as you may drive the van for resident outings.
• Applicants must be legally entitled to work in NZ.

Bupa Hugh Green located in Albany, on Auckland’s NorthShore is a purpose-built facility and offersrest home, hospital, dementia, and care suites. It is known for its modern design and proximity to nature.
