Job summary

Archway Recruitment in Wellington, NZ, is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer for a full-time 12-month fixed-term contract. The role offers exposure to end-to-end AP, GST/FBT preparation, reconciliations, and month-end processes within a supportive team.

You will process supplier invoices, raise POs, handle payments and support wider finance tasks as you grow your technical responsibilities. 12-month FTC with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Accounts Payable position.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using SAP or other top tier finance systems.
• Adaptable and proactive approach to work.
• A collaborative attitude and willingness to support others in a small team environment.
• A desire to learn, develop and take on new responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices and payments.
• Preparing monthly credit card statements.
• Raising and issuing purchase orders.
• Supporting billing and collections activities as required.
• Assisting with the preparation of GST and FBT information.
• Supporting month-end processes and reconciliations.
• Assisting with finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
