Tyson Foods, Inc. in New Zealand is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Finance team. You will manage day-to-day AP activities, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and payments made on time.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers, maintain strong controls, and support month-end close and audits in a fast-paced, global environment. Experience with SAP and Excel is essential; GST knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in accounts payable or finance administration.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with accounting systems; SAP preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong reconciliations and problem-solving ability.
• Understanding GST and financial controls in AP processes.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with suppliers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and on time.
• Coordinate invoice approvals and follow up.
• Review purchase orders and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain supplier records and documentation.
• Complete AP reconciliations and resolve outstanding items.
• Respond to supplier queries and assist with issue resolution.
• Support month-end close and reporting requirements.
• Provide occasional admin support across the business.
