Job summary

Westland Milk Products in Christchurch is seeking an organised Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team on a permanent basis. You will process invoices, manage supplier payments, expenses and credit card reconciliations, and maintain vendor records.

You'll work with stakeholders across the business, support payment runs, ensure policy compliance and contribute to process improvements and automation to drive efficiency in a dynamic, growing NZ dairy group.

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Payable experience or experience in a similar finance or administration role
• Basic accounting knowledge and/or a relevant qualification (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• The ability to prioritise workloads and consistently meet deadlines
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confidence using finance systems and Microsoft Office applications
• A proactive approach with a continuous improvement mindset
• The ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to support others
