CSR Springboard is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Interior Systems business, supporting Potters customers across the North Island. You will own a key portfolio of accounts, build trusted relationships, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer solutions.

This role requires at least 5 years in account management, strong business development and communication skills, and a proactive, autonomous approach in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' general account management experience, or 2+ years in a relevant product/industry

Responsibilities

  • Managing and growing a portfolio of key customer accounts
  • Developing and implementing strategic account plans to drive sustainable growth
  • Following up sales opportunities and winning new customers
  • Building strong, trusted, and long-term relationships with customers
  • Understanding customer needs and identifying new business opportunities within your portfolio
  • Delivering a high level of customer service and ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Partnering with sales, customer service, operations, logistics, marketing, and technical teams to deliver effective customer solutions
  • Monitoring account performance and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Providing market intelligence and feedback on projects, pricing, competitor activity, and account performance
  • Developing a strong understanding of the Potters business, product range, and customer offering
  • Working collaboratively with the wider sales team to achieve commercial targets
  • Maintaining a strong commitment to health, safety, and wellbeing

As this role supports customers across the North Island, you will need to be comfortable with regional travel of up to approximately 1.5 hours, around twice a month.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our Interior Systems business, supporting Potters customers across the North Island.

Reporting to the Commercial Area Manager, you will take ownership of a key portfolio of accounts, developing trusted customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating closely with our internal teams to deliver solutions that meet our customers' needs.

About the role

This is a commercial role where you will have the opportunity to make an impact across both existing and new accounts.

Your key responsibilities will include:

About you

You are a commercially minded Account Manager who enjoys being in front of customers, building relationships and finding opportunities to grow.

To be successful, you will ideally bring:

  • 5+ years' general account management experience, or 2+ years' experience within a relevant product or industry environment
  • Experience successfully managing a large or diverse customer portfolio.
  • Strong business development and customer relationship management capability.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer service and project management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify growth opportunities.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • The ability to prioritise competing demands and work autonomously.

Experience within building products, construction, interiors, or a related industry will be highly regarded.
