Job summary

Boxer is a creative agency in Auckland seeking an Account Manager with 5 to 6 years in an agency or similar creative environment. You will connect clients with our creative team, turning ambition into action and guiding projects from brief to delivery.

You will own budgets, write briefs, manage timelines and approvals, and identify opportunities to grow relationships. This full-time on-site role in Morningside offers ownership and the chance to shape standout campaigns from the inside.

Qualifications

• 5 to 6 years in an agency, studio or similar creative environment.
• Forensic attention to detail. You catch the things other people miss, and nothing slips through.
• A natural organiser and planner who loves a tidy schedule and thrives juggling multiple deadlines.
• Budget confident. You are comfortable owning numbers and have the discipline to hit project targets.
• A confident client manager who is calm, credible and personable in the room and on the call.
• Driven and self motivated. You take ownership and do not wait to be asked.
• Excellent communication, written, verbal and interpersonal.
• Comfortable with digital and social campaign delivery. Copywriting or strategic chops are a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Own the daily flow of communication between clients and the internal team, and keep both sides aligned.
• Write clear, inspiring briefs and help shape how campaigns come together.
• Run projects from kick off to delivery, tracking timelines, feedback and approvals with precision.
• Own budgets end to end. Build accurate quotes, watch every job, and flag risks early so projects stay profitable and on target.
• Support client strategy and spot opportunities to grow the relationship and the work.
• Work with media, production and print partners to deliver campaigns from start to finish.
• Plan and roll out social calendars, and contribute to content through proofing and short copy.
• Champion the client while backing the creative team to push the idea further than anyone expected.
• Solve problems before they become problems, and keep expectations clear at every step.
