Job summary

Aon in Christchurch seeks a Corporate Broker Support to work closely with senior brokers, ensuring high-quality client servicing while you learn and grow within a supportive team. This role offers exposure to a range of corporate insurance offerings and a path to develop across the Aon business.

You will help prepare proposals for new business opportunities, coordinate renewals and premium calculations, and provide technical broking support through liaison with clients, insurers and Aon units,

Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance field, ideally large commercial or corporate accounts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to learn and own a portfolio of clients.

What The Mahi Will Look Like

As a Broker Support in our Corporate team you will be working closely with senior brokers to ensure client servicing is at a high standard. Not only will you provide professional, accurate advice and support to our clients, stakeholders and underwriters, but you will also be able to learn and grow.

Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Preparing proposals for new business opportunities


• Coordinating client renewals and preparing premium calculations


• Provision of technical broking support in respect of assigned client portfolio through liaison with clients, insurer and Aon business units


• Claims management

Skills And Experience That Will Lead To Success

You will be a natural at building lasting, trusted relationships. Key to being successful is your experience in the insurance field, ideally experience supporting large commercial or corporate accounts, and you will have a strong aptitude to learn with the drive to get the best outcome for our clients.

What We Are Looking For In Our Candidate

• Experience in underwriting, claims or from a broker support background


• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills


• A Level 5 Fire and General is advantageous


• Desire to learn, and own a portfolio of clients, making things happen
