Job summary

Accenture NZ is seeking Managers to drive AI and data strategies for our clients in Auckland. You will lead teams or provide strategic insights on impactful projects, shaping how organizations use data and AI to create value.

In this role you’ll build diverse teams, manage client relationships, present data-driven strategies to senior leaders, and guide end-to-end engagements from ideation to deployment across industries.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience deploying machine learning algorithms for analytics-driven digital transformations.
  • 3+ years of experience in people management, leading teams in AI and data projects.
  • Strong expertise in data-driven insights and helping clients advance analytics maturity.
  • Degree in statistics, applied mathematics, operations research or related fields.

About You
  • Strong expertise in data‑driven insights, with a passion for helping clients advance their data and analytics maturity.
  • Degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in deploying machine learning algorithms for analytics‑driven digital transformations.
  • 3+ years of experience in people management, leading teams in AI and data projects.
Core Technical Skills
  • Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Conversational AI (Virtual Agents), and Narrative Science.
  • Speech-to-Text, Text-to-Speech, and related AI‑driven language solutions.
  • Computer Vision, including face recognition and handwriting recognition.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Apache Spark, Microsoft Azure Machine Learning, Mathematical Programming, and Sentiment Analysis.
