Job summary

Big Chill Distribution in Hamilton, NZ, is seeking a fixed-term Pick & Packer to support our busy period. Based in Ruakura, you will pick and pack orders, ensure accuracy, and assist with cycle counts in a chilled environment.

The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:30, with a fixed end date of 18 December 2026. Applicants should have warehouse experience, knowledge of safety procedures, and the ability to work well in a team.

About the role

We are looking for a fixed term Pick & Packer to join our team in Ruakura, Hamilton. We are heading into our busy time of year and need someone ideally, with experience working in chilled and frozen environments to assist us in meeting our customers growing demands.

This is a fixed-term position ending on 18th December 2026. You will be working Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• The picking and packing of our customers’ orders.
• Checking accuracy of our customers’ orders.
• Counting inventory for cycle counts.
• Adherence to our Health and Safety standards and policies

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
• Experience working in chilled temperatures.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fit for manual work, with some Warehousing experience
