Job summary

Whanganui District Council is seeking a proactive 3 Waters Support Officer to join our team at 179 St Hill Street, Whanganui. This full-time role focuses on coordinating information, handling customer enquiries, and supporting the 3 Waters operations to keep services flowing smoothly.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, acting as a central point of contact for customers, contractors, field crews and office staff.

Qualifications

• At least two years' experience in an administration, coordination or customer service role.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise work and remain adaptable in a busy environment.
• A positive attitude and willingness to support others.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate information and manage customer enquiries for the 3 Waters team.
• Support operational activities and assist with water meter processes.
• Act as a central point of contact between customers, contractors, field crews and office staff.
• Help deliver essential services to the community and keep work flowing smoothly.
