Job summary

Sealord Llc invites skilled mariners to join FV Tokatu as 2nd Mate. Play a key leadership role onboard, helping lead the deck crew and maintain high safety and performance standards alongside an experienced Skipper and crew.

You will contribute to a professional, well-coordinated team while upholding safety, training, and operational excellence on a modern deep-sea vessel.

Qualifications

• At least 12 months’ experience on a deep-sea fishing trawler.
• A current Deckhand Certificate.
• Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead the deck crew and champion a strong safety culture.
• Drive high performance while working with the Skipper, 1st Mate and crew.
• Support navigation, mooring, and line handling as part of daily operations.

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Bosun, Fisher A or B Deckhand ready to step into a leadership role. You’ll need:

Working an8-hours-on / 8-hours-off roster, you’ll be part of a crew that values professionalism, performance, and getting the job done right.
