We are seeking motivated kaiako to play a crucial role in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where our aakonga can reach their full potential.

Key requirements

We welcome applications from NZ trained and registered teachers who demonstrate:

  • Curriculum knowledge: Sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum .
  • Relationships and expectations: Positive behavioural expectations and the ability to build strong, learner-focused relationships.
  • Literacy and maths: Experience with structured literacy and the updated mathematics curriculum (an advantage).
  • Inclusive practice: Ability to cater for learners with special needs and English Language Learners (ELL) through inclusive practices.
  • Te Ao Maaori and Reo: Commitment to weaving te reo Maaori into daily practice, as well as delivering formal reo instruction.
