Job summary

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference for ākonga with diverse learning needs? Patricia Avenue School, a progressive and inclusive special school, is seeking 2 dedicated teachers to join our team.

Start date beginning of the 2027 school year. We have the flexibility to negotiate a start date in term 4 this year if required.

We are only considering applicants who have a valid New Zealand teaching registration and the legal right to work in New Zealand.

Key requirements:

• Current New Zealand teacher registration and practising certificate.

Terms and conditions, including base salary, are set by the Primary Teachers’ Collective Agreement 2026-28. The base salary for trained, registered teachers ranges from $62,862 to $105,686, depending on qualifications and experience, plus a Special Duties Allowance.
