This reliever position focuses on providing 1:1 ratio support for young children under 2 with additional needs. The role is flexible or casual, and involves caring for and supervising a young child, supporting feeding, naps and daily routines, and engaging in age-appropriate play.

Qualifications

• Warm, reliable, and caring person to join the team.
• Experience with children and routines encouraged.
• First Aid certification and driving licence advantageous.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
• Unqualified reliever role may operate in early childhood depending on needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ratio support for young children under 2.
• Support feeding, naps and daily routines.
• Engage the child in age-appropriate play and activities.
• Help maintain a safe, calm and nurturing environment.
• Follow established routines and instructions; communicate with parents.
