Job summary

ABB is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Automation to join our office in Fornebu. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, design, program, test and commission automation projects, and provide service to installed systems.

We value at least 5 years of relevant experience, a degree in automation or related field, and fluency in Norwegian and English. Travel for commissioning and service activities is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in automation or related field
• Experience with PLC/DCS programming is an advantage
• Knowledge of communication between HMI systems and PLCs (OPC, Profibus, Modbus, Comli)
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Your Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, and/or technical vocational education within automation or a related field
• Experience with PLC/DCS programming is an advantage

• Ability to identify simple and practical solutions to complex problems
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English, written and spoken
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
