Job summary

ABB is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Automation for its office in Fornebu, near Oslo. You will lead multidisciplinary project teams to plan, design, program, test and commission automation projects, while also servicing existing systems and collaborating with the sales organization.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in automation or a related field with 5+ years of experience, and are fluent in Norwegian and English. Travel for commissioning and service activities is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in automation or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with PLC/DCS programming is an advantage.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary project teams.
• Plan, design, program, test, and commission projects.
• Perform service and follow up on existing customers and installed systems.
• Program 800xA controllers and HMIs.
• Collaborate with and provide input to the sales organization.
