Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting is seeking a skilled mechanic for assembly and testing of VX meters, AW, and related equipment in Horsøy, Norway. You will support test equipment development and ensure strict adherence to procedures, reporting, and sign-off, with a strong emphasis on HSE, quality, and ethics.

The role involves handling high-pressure systems, rotating machinery, and precision components, plus occasional participation in HARC and toolbox activities to maintain safety and process integrity.

Qualifications

• Certified mechanic or equivalent level (experience + training).
• Crane certificate is required.
• Forklift/Cherry picker/OLF certification or training is advantageous.
• Flange and pressure testing certifications are advantageous.
• Experience with rotating machinery and swivel systems during assembly and testing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test VX meters, AW, and associated mechanical components.
• Support development of test equipment and related procedures.
• Ensure reporting and procedures are signed off; maintain HSE, quality, and ethics focus.
• Participate in HARC and toolbox talks as required.
• Maintain high focus on HSE and quality in high-pressure and rotating machinery contexts.
