Job summary

Höegh Evi is seeking an Accounting Associate to provide administrative support to Vessel Accountants in the Philippines. The role involves preparing vouchers, posting invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

You will handle end-to-end bookkeeping for assigned entities, manage vendor master data, and assist in month-end and quarterly closings. Collaboration with stakeholders and a detail-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Knowledge of ReadSoft and IFS is an advantage.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain vouchers and workpapers for general ledger entries.
• Manage vendor invoice lifecycle and customer billing processes.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and close activities.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Support month-end and quarterly closing activities.
• Identify and report recurring issues and improvements.
