Job summary

HÖEGH LNG AS is continuously seeking qualified and motivated seafarers for their FSRU fleet. Applicants should have a minimum of six months of experience working on LNG and/or LPG tankers and hold a valid STCW Certificate of Competency. The role involves compliance with international regulations, training less experienced crew, and demonstrating a strong commitment to safety and environmental protection. Job description

Qualifications
  • Minimum six months of prior experience working on LNG and/or LPG tankers.
  • Valid STCW Certificate of Competency, including the appropriate tanker Certificate of Proficiency for the relevant rank.
  • Proven fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Possession of a valid passport.
Key Responisibilities
  • Seafarers are expected to comply with the company’s Safety Management System and all applicable international regulations, including IMO, SOLAS, STCW, MARPOL, IGC, SIGTTO, OCIMF, and other relevant industry standards. They must also stay continuously updated on new and emerging regulations.
  • Seafarers should actively contribute to the training, guidance, and development of less experienced crew members.
  • Each seafarer follows an assigned duty plan, but must remain flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities when operational needs require it.
  • Seafarers must consistently demonstrate a strong commitment to preventing pollution and protecting the marine environment in all operations.
