Qualifications

• Strong experience supporting enterprise network environments.
• Good knowledge of routing and switching technologies.
• Experience with Cisco networking technologies.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, NAT, ACLs, and secure connectivity.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident-resolution skills.
• Understanding of resilient and highly available network design.
• Experience working in live service, operational, or managed-service environments.
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with technical teams and stakeholders.
• Proactive, customer-focused approach.
• Active UK SC clearance (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain production network infrastructure across secure environments.
• Troubleshoot network incidents, connectivity issues, and performance problems.
• Implement planned network changes safely and effectively.
• Support routing, switching, firewalling, VPN, and load-balancing technologies.
• Contribute to network upgrades, migrations, optimisation, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor network health and performance using observability and monitoring tooling.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and problem management.
• Maintain technical documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, service management, and customer teams.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, resilience, and security.
