Job summary

iO Associates is seeking an SCC-cleared Software & Systems Engineer for an on-site London role supporting critical law-enforcement applications. You’ll handle a mix of bespoke and legacy systems across development, infrastructure, databases, containers, and application support.

The position requires active SC clearance, is based on-site in London, and offers a contract length of 6–12 months with a daily rate up to £650 inside IR35.

I’m currently recruiting for an SCClearedSoftware & Systems Engineer to join an onsite development support team working within a specialist IT function supporting critical law-enforcement applications and systems.

This is a genuinely varied engineering role. You’ll be supporting a mixture of bespoke and legacy applications, working across development, infrastructure, databases, containers and application support. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck into technical problems and isn’t restricted to a single discipline.

Rate: Up to £650 / day Inside IR35
Location: London – 5 days per week on-site
Clearance: Active SC Clearance (non-negotiable)
Contract Length: 6-12 months
