Job summary

OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University invites applications for 1-2 faculty positions in accounting at the associate professor level with tenure. You will contribute to research and teaching in accounting and auditing, and may be promoted to full professor after appointment.

The role includes teaching at bachelor, master, and PhD levels, research leadership, and involvement in the Finance and Accounting group at Oslo Business School, located in downtown Oslo.

Qualifications

• Applicants must hold a PhD in accounting or related fields (or be close to completion).
• Have published in international journals and/or show potential for high-quality publications.
• Have good teaching skills.
• Written and oral proficiency in Norwegian, Swedish or Danish (min level B2) and English.

Responsibilities

• Teaching and supervision at bachelor, master, and PhD levels.
• Contribute to high-quality education development.
• Initiate and conduct high-quality academic research.
• Contribute to the research group in accounting and auditing and to study programmes.
• Academic-administrative tasks.
• Contribute to Oslo Business School and OsloMet development.
• Disseminate research outcomes to the academic community and society.
