Job summary

Head Energy Consulting AS is seeking a Telecom Engineer to join our Scandinavian engineering and consulting team. You will handle telecom system engineering and coordination across onshore and offshore projects, working with industrial networks, fiber optics, structured cabling, PA/GA, CCTV, security and communications systems.

The role requires a MSc/BSc in related field, experience from EPC/detailed engineering in energy, oil and gas, hydrogen or renewables, and familiarity with NORSOK and IEC

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Automation or similar.
• Experience from EPC/detailed engineering projects in energy, process industry, oil & gas, hydrogen or renewables.
• Good knowledge of industrial telecom systems and multidisciplinary project environments.
• Familiarity with NORSOK and relevant IEC standards is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Telecom system engineering and coordination
• Industrial networks, fiber optics, structured cabling, PA/GA, CCTV, security and communication systems
• Telecom documentation and vendor follow-up
• Interface with automation, electrical, instrumentation and process disciplines
• Support during engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning
