NSSLGlobal AS in Norway is seeking a Technical Support & Pre-Sales Engineer to strengthen our SnapTV team. You will contribute across the SnapTV platform, supporting customers and collaborating with global teams from our Technopolis Fornebu office and beyond.

NSSLGlobal is looking for a new colleague to strengthen our team focusing on our SnapTV product suite.
SnapTV is our all in one in house developed end- to- end IPTV solution & offers state-of-the art media systems amongst our esteemed list of customers who trust our solutions to deliver the highest profile live or on demand media content with integrity and efficiency.
The SnapTV system consists of a central/shore-based part and a remote/on-board part.
The central servers handle content, licensing and distribution over various networks while the remote servers are used for storing and distributing the content to Set Top boxes, & or on mobile devices.
Our main market segment is maritime and government customers and we have a global customer base utilising the SnapTV suite on a daily basis.
We are looking for a Technical Support & Pre-Sales Engineer that can contribute across different parts of the SnapTV platform.
We can offer a role in a dynamic and exciting work environment, where you will be exposed to a broad range of different technologies and tasks.
You will be an integral part in supporting the product suite in line with the company's technology roadmap both for customer phasing projects, but also within the NSSLGlobal Group, where SnapTV is an integral part of customer projects.
You will work with an experienced team in our office at Technopolis, Fornebu but also with an international team supporting our global organisation in country as well.
Provide high-quality technical support via phone and email.
Document, follow up and handle support cases to ensure quick and well-communicated solutions.
Build, configure and test SnapTV systems before shipping to customers.
Willing to travel for installation, upgrade or Maintenance SnapTV system onshore and offshore
Maintain and update SnapTV systems provided to customers globally.
Prepare the documentation for installation, operation and troubleshooting, both customer facing and internally.
Assist Group Product Management in keeping production documentation and marketing material up-to-date.
Conduct and assist with Factory Acceptance Test and Onsite Acceptance test.
Assist the Group Sales force with pre-sales activities for both future and existing projects.
A bachelor’s degree in electronic/Telecommunications, or equivalent in relevant area.
At least 3-4 years of experience working on in field and/or operational experience.
Self-motivated and able to manage changing priorities working with global customers.
Hands-on and comfortable working directly with equipment and installation activities.
Very good hands-on experience on network architecture (firewall, Router, configuration).
Experience with Linux Operating system installation.
Familiar with media server, streaming, or broadcast-related systems would be an advantage.
Basic understanding of TVRO, RF/broadcast signal flow, or set-top box integration is preferred.
Good communication skills in both English and Norwegian.
