Job summary

NSSLGlobal AS in Norway is seeking a Technical Support & Pre-Sales Engineer to strengthen our SnapTV team. You will contribute across the SnapTV platform, supporting customers and collaborating with global teams from our Technopolis Fornebu office and beyond.

The role offers exposure to cutting-edge IPTV technologies, the opportunity to travel for installations, and a dynamic, international work environment with competitive terms, pension and insurance schemes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronic/telecommunications or related field.
• 3–4 years of field or operational experience.
• Hands-on with equipment installation.
• Experience with Linux OS installation.
• Familiar with media server, streaming or broadcast systems.
• Good English and Norwegian communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality technical support via phone and email.
• Document, follow up and handle support cases to ensure quick and well-communicated solutions.
• Build, configure and test SnapTV systems before shipping to customers.
• Willing to travel for installation, upgrade or maintenance of SnapTV system onshore and offshore.
• Maintain and update SnapTV systems provided to customers globally.
• Prepare the documentation for installation, operation and troubleshooting, both customer facing and internally.
• Assist Group Product Management in keeping production documentation and marketing material up-to-date.
• Conduct and assist with Factory Acceptance Test and Onsite Acceptance test.
• Assist the Group Sales force with pre-sales activities for both future and existing projects.
