9B Careers is working with an established 60-person architecture practice in central London to appoint a technically strong Associate Architect to work on a major multi-million-pound development.

The project is expected to remain on site for the next 3–4 years, offering an excellent opportunity to take a senior technical role on a major London project, working alongside an experienced project leadership team.

The Role

The Associate will provide senior technical and BIM leadership throughout the project, with a particular focus on coordinating packages and ensuring the successful delivery of the design through the technical and construction stages.

Responsibilities will include:

• Taking a leading technical role on major project.
• Coordinating architectural and consultant packages.
• Providing BIM and technical oversight across the project.
• Working closely with contractors and the wider project team.
• Supporting the delivery of detailed technical design and construction information.
• Identifying and resolving technical and coordination issues.
• Providing guidance and technical leadership to the wider project team.
• Working closely with the Project Director and senior leadership team.

About You

We're looking for an experienced Architect or Associate with:

• Strong technical and construction experience.
• Proven experience working throughtechnical design and delivery stages.
• Excellent BIM/Revit knowledge.
• Experience coordinating complex architectural packages.
• Strong contractor and consultant coordination skills.
• The confidence to take ownership of technical matters on a major project.
• Experience working on large-scale and complex projects would be highly advantageous.
