Job summary

Jobgether, listed on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Tech Lead/Sr Backend (Go) Developer based in Norway. You will own backend systems, design scalable services, and build Kubernetes Operators with Go in a cloud-native environment.

Lead architecture, guide engineering practices, and collaborate across teams while delivering reliable, highly available systems. This remote-friendly role is rooted in Slovenia, offering strong ownership and cross-cloud exposure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend development experience
• 5+ years of hands-on Go experience
• Experience as Tech Lead or Team Lead
• Strong Kubernetes experience and container orchestration
• Experience designing RESTful services, microservices and highly available systems

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend applications prioritizing availability, reliability, maintainability, and operational resilience
• Develop Kubernetes Operators using Go and the Operator SDK as production-ready microservices
• Own backend solutions from architecture through deployment, scaling, monitoring, and ongoing improvement
• Develop RESTful architectures and server-side services for complex workloads with clean, maintainable code
• Design and implement high-availability architectures and disaster recovery strategies
• Manage containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker Swarm, including deployment and health management
• Collaborate with cloud infrastructure to manage and orchestrate resources effectively
• Provide technical leadership through architectural decisions and engineering guidance
• Contribute to evolving backend architecture and engineering standards
• Investigate complex issues across application and infrastructure layers
