Zivid is seeking a Team Lead and Staff Software Engineer to grow and guide the SDK team behind our developer-focused SDK. You will own API design, wrappers, packaging, and tooling used by robotics and vision developers integrating Zivid 3D cameras into their systems, while mentoring engineers and shaping technical direction.
You will spend ~30% on people leadership and 70% on hands-on engineering, driving architectural decisions, code reviews, and high-impact contributions in C++ and Python,

We build a developer-first product, and we are looking for a Team Lead and Staff Software Engineer to grow and guide the team behind our SDK - the surface our developer and integrator customers interact with every day.
You will lead the SDK team, currently five engineers, and growing. The Zivid SDK is our developer-facing product: the APIs, language wrappers, packaging, and tooling customers use to integrate Zivid 3D cameras into their robotics and vision systems. Your job is to keep that product excellent as we scale, both as a people manager and as a hands-on senior engineer.
30% of the role is leadership - building, coaching, and growing the team, setting technical direction, and aligning SDK deliveries with company goals. The other 70% is hands-on contribution - reviewing designs, writing C++ and Python, driving difficult architecture decisions, and setting the quality bar through your own work.
