Job summary

Zivid is seeking a Team Lead and Staff Software Engineer to grow and guide the SDK team behind our developer-focused SDK. You will own API design, wrappers, packaging, and tooling used by robotics and vision developers integrating Zivid 3D cameras into their systems, while mentoring engineers and shaping technical direction.

You will spend ~30% on people leadership and 70% on hands-on engineering, driving architectural decisions, code reviews, and high-impact contributions in C++ and Python,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with production software
• Prior people management or tech-lead experience
• Strong hands-on skills in C++ and Python
• Solid understanding of SDK/API design, stability and packaging
• Experience with modern build systems and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Lead the SDK team (5 engineers) and shape technical direction
• Own API design decisions, wrappers, packaging, and Zivid Studio UX
• Drive monorepo strategy, dependency management, test strategy
• Collaborate with Product, Vision, Firmware, Infrastructure, and Production Test
