Job summary

Water Linked is seeking a motivated student for a 6-week paid Summer Internship in Trondheim. You will work on underwater technology projects, helping with design, prototyping and testing under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Join a collaborative team, contribute to real-world tasks, and gain exposure to sensor fusion, signal processing and hardware development for harsh underwater environments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field with strong interest in underwater tech.
• Expected to have completed at least two or three years of study by the summer.
• Hands-on mindset with a curiosity for problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, prototyping, testing and refining underwater systems.
• Contribute to sensor fusion, signal processing and hardware validation tasks.
• Collaborate with engineers on real-world projects and documentation.
• Participate in Workation activities and summer program events.

Are you ready to put your skills to the test in an innovative, hands-on environment? As a part of Water Linked's Summer Internship, you'll have the chance to join a dynamic and collaborative team working on cutting-edge underwater technology. While the specific project details are still being finalized, you’ll be contributing to real-world tasks that explore the depths of underwater autonomy, sensor fusion, and signal processing.

We believe in fostering a strong learning environment where you can apply your academic knowledge to practical tasks, all while being guided by experienced engineers. As an intern, you'll be exposed to designing, prototyping, testing, and refining the functionalities of systems that push the boundaries of underwater technology.

If you're an enthusiastic and motivated student with a passion for problem-solving and a love for teamwork, you might be just the person we're looking for! We're seeking students enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's programs in Sound and Vibration, Acoustics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Cybernetics, Marine Technology or related fields, who will have completed at least two or three years of study by the summer. Most of all, we're looking for someone curious, hands-on and excited to build their future in engineering.
