Water Linked AS in Trondheim invites students to join their Summer Internship 2027 - Field Application. You’ll work with the Field Application team, combining hands-on testing with structured data gathering as part of a larger project with underwater sensors.

Activities include integrating sensors onto ROVs/AUVs, planning tests, analyzing results, and troubleshooting. Mentorship from engineers, and participation in Workation-style activities are provided.

Competenze

• Students enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's programs in Electronics, Cybernetics, Marine Technology, Robotics, Mechatronics, Data Science or related fields.
• Interest in working with data and hands-on with real equipment.
• Ability to operate in a team and learn from experienced engineers.

Summer Internship 2027 - Field Application

Are you ready to put your technical skills to work where it really counts: in the water? As a part of Water Linked's Summer Internship, you'll join our Field Application team, the people who make sure our cutting-edge underwater sensors perform when it matters most: out at sea. While the specific project details are still being finalized, you'll most likely be part of a larger project that combines hands-on testing with structured data gathering and analysis.

We believe in fostering a strong learning environment where you can apply your academic knowledge to practical tasks, all while being guided by experienced engineers. As an intern, you could be integrating our sensors onto ROVs and other underwater vehicles, planning and carrying out tests, analysing data to understand how our sensors perform, and digging into technical issues when things don't go as planned.

If you're an enthusiastic and motivated student with a passion for problem-solving and a love for teamwork, you might be just the person we're looking for! We're seeking students enrolled in Bachelor's or Master's programs in Electronics, Cybernetics, Marine Technology, Robotics, Mechatronics, Data Science or related fields. Most of all, we're looking for someone who enjoys working with data but also loves getting hands-on with real equipment.
