Job summary

Yara Technology Center in Porsgrunn, Norway is offering an 8-week CFD internship focused on simulating production processes using ANSYS Fluent. You will design complex 3D geometry, run single or multi-phase flow simulations, and report findings in English.

The candidate should be in the second to final year of a Master’s program in chemical or mechanical engineering, have an excellent academic record, be fluent in English, and communicate well in a diverse team environment.

CFD Simulation of Yara 's production process

During the internship, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) will be used to simulate one of Yara's production processes. The simulations can be used in developing new process technology for Yara or connected to Yara factory troubleshooting.

Profile

• Preferably you should be a student in the second to final year of master’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering or similar, with good academic records. Competency in chemistry and chemical reactions is an advantage.
• We are looking for a person that is self-driven, responsible and able to communicate in a diverse working environment
• Fluent in English

The project will last for 8 weeks from June to August 2027.
