Job summary

Transocean Norway Operations AS seeks a Subsea Supervisor to operate, maintain and troubleshoot BOP, riser and subsea systems on modern drilling units in Norway. The role requires offshore experience, trade certificate in mechanical disciplines or similar, and strong safety mindset.

You will plan and execute tests, ensure safe operations, and collaborate across teams in a leading international offshore company.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in mechanical disciplines, automation, electrical or another relevant technical field.
• Experience with operation and maintenance of well control systems and subsea equipment.
• Offshore experience.
• Good Norwegian and English skills, both written and spoken.
• Valid medical certificate and basic safety training.
• Clear and confident, with strong collaboration skills.
• High focus on safety and quality.
• Structured and solution-oriented in an operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of BOP, riser and subsea systems.
• Planning and execution of tests and inspections.
• Ensure safe operation and maintenance of BOP, marine riser and associated control systems.

Education

Trade certificate in mechanical disciplines, automation, electrical or another relevant technical field
