Job summary

Noble is seeking an experienced Subsea Maintenance Specialist to oversee maintenance and repair of the BOP stack and related subsea systems on offshore rigs in Norway. You will plan evolutions, direct an assistance team, perform critical calculations, and ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance while collaborating with rig management.

The role requires extensive knowledge of BOPs, hydraulics, and subsea equipment, plus strong communication, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Recognized Marine/Engineering qualification from Maritime college or equivalent.
• 3+ years of related hydraulics and fluids maintenance experience.
• Superior knowledge of BOPs and control systems.
• Experience with riser tensioners and CMC functions.
• Familiarity with all wellhead equipment and running tools.
• Ability to perform accurate riser and tensioner calculations.
• Complete all required training within the designated time.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting, decision making and problem resolution.
• Ability to work with diverse groups, resolve conflicts, plan and delegate.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Skilled in time management and handling multiple tasks.
• Proficient in office applications and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan operations and evolutions related to subsea systems and operations.
• Directly control assistance team for pulling the BOP stack.
• Perform calculations related to fluids, weights, and depths.
• Install and maintain subsea BOP stack and riser equipment.
• Troubleshoot subsea and surface equipment and advise on corrective actions.
• Witness tests on subsea safety/completion equipment.
• Maintain and repair subsea and surface support equipment.
• Maintain gear and provide reports on equipment performance.
