Job summary

TechnipFMC plc in Norway is seeking a skilled Product Engineer to drive engineering solutions across subsea control system projects. You will work with the Product Project Manager, Lead Engineer, Planner and Project Engineer to translate customer requirements into compliant specifications and to oversee design reviews.

The role involves coordinating with suppliers, supporting fabrication and documentation, and supervising FATs at the supplier site.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in an engineering discipline.
Extensive experience in hydraulic and electric engineering.
Understanding of subsea engineering principles, production and workover systems.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Performs and approves engineering solutions within projects and manufacturing/fabrication, following instructions, schedules and HSE requirements.
Optimizes engineering solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
Provides technical assistance within projects, manufacturing, fabrication and installation sites.
Ensures engineering solutions comply with client requirements, industry standards and Group HSE processes.
Interfaces with other engineering disciplines and engineering teams.
