Job summary

TechnipFMC is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Maintenance Engineering Department in Norway. You will support refurbishment, recertification, modification, mobilization, and demobilization of subsea production systems, coordinating onshore operations and workshop activities.

You will plan and follow up maintenance work to ensure it is completed safely, on time, and to quality requirements, acting as a technical contact for workshops, customers, and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, marine, electrical, automation or related engineering.
• Practical workshop or offshore operations experience.
• Subsea engineering experience preferred.
• Fluency in Norwegian and English, written and spoken.
• Experience applying Lean principles and structured problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Participate in front-end planning before project start-up.
• Coordinate the service scope for the project.
• Help define maintenance strategies per requirements.
• Provide input to scopes of work, materials, quotations and processes.
• Provide day-to-day technical support for workshop activities.
• Act as technical contact for workshops, customers and subcontractors.
• Review technical reports and provide feedback to customers.
• Identify and resolve quality escapes and deviations.
• Provide technical assistance with workshops and Supply Chain.
• Prepare, review and maintain project and engineering documentation.
• Lead internal and customer technical meetings.
