Job summary

Noble Corporation in Norway seeks an experienced Subsea Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair the subsea BOP stack, lower marine riser package, and related equipment. You will monitor subsea system operations, troubleshoot issues, and support safe, efficient drilling operations.

Responsibilities include planning evolutions, coordinating with rig personnel, and ensuring compliance with Noble's safety policies. Strong hydraulics knowledge and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of related experience and education in hydraulics and fluid system maintenance and repair.
• Superior knowledge of BOPs and control systems and associated procedures.
• Experience with riser tensioners, CMC functions and wellhead equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform accurate calculations for riser runs and tensioners.
• Completion of all training requirements within the designated time period.

Responsibilities

• Plan operations and evolutions related to subsea systems with rig management.
• Organize and control assistance team for pulling the BOP stack.
• Maintain knowledge of drilling operations to assemble/disassemble equipment.
• Interface with rig personnel to support subsea and surface equipment.
• Perform calculations (fluids, weights, water depth) before spudding.
• Install subsea equipment efficiently during drilling operations.
• Pre-plan evolutions for time-efficient operations.
• Coordinate with Materials Coordinator on spare parts and records.
• Other duties as assigned.
